Senior Technical Officer/Technical Officer in the Department of Medicine, School of Clinical Medicine and the State Key Laboratory of Pharmaceutical Biotechnology (Ref.: 530017) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two- to three-year fixed-term basis or one-year temporary basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.)
Applicants should possess a Master’s degree or above in Biology or Chemistry, preferably with experience in laboratory management and knowledge of animal studies. Those with lower qualifications may be considered for appointment as Technical Officer.
The appointee will coordinate an eight-year inter-institutional project on “metabolic medicine” supported by RGC “Area of Excellence”, and manage research platforms in the State Key Laboratory. 5.5 working days per week is required. Enquiries about the post should be sent to antibody@hku.hk.
