Senior Technical Officer in the Department of Medicine, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.: 530013) (to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree in health-related disciplines, with at least 5 years’ relevant work experience in clinical research field, preferably in tertiary institutions.  They should have a strong quantitative background; experience in collecting data according to SOP; demonstrated expertise in the analysis of large and complex datasets; excellent written and oral communication skills; strong data visualization skills; and the ability to work independently as well as in a multidisciplinary team.  They should also be organised; responsible; resourceful; attentive to details; and able to multi-task.

The appointee will conduct clinical trials in compliance with protocols; recruit potential subject; collect data and maintain good clinical records; conduct power/sample size estimation; generate tables and figures for reports and presentations; prepare grant proposals and reports; coordinate research design; supervise junior research staff; provide support to laboratory management; and perform other duties as assigned.
