Administrative Assistant II/Executive Officer (holding the functional title of Operations Manager) in the Visitor Centre and Campus Store managed by the Academic Liaison Office of the Registry (Ref: 529994) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, and with the possibility of renewal)

Applicants should possess a good University degree and at least 8 years’ relevant work experience in shop operations management/office management, including supervisory experience.  They should also have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua); excellent interpersonal and organisational skills; a strong sense of responsibility; and be detail-oriented and able to work under pressure.  Applicants with less experience may be considered as Executive Officer.

The appointee will be responsible for overseeing the operations of two sales outlets, including management of staff rosters, hiring of helpers, monitoring the sourcing and procurement process, and any other duties as assigned by the Office Head, to ensure the smooth operation of the shops in compliance with university policies and guidelines.  He/She may be required to work outside normal office hours and on weekends.  Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
