Laboratory Assistant in the School of Nursing (Ref.: 528857) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability) 

Applicants should have 5 passes in HKCEE including English (min. Grade C if Syllabus A/Level 2 from 2007) and Chinese (Level 2 from 2007), OR min. Level 2 in 5 subjects in HKDSEE including English Language and Chinese Language.  They should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, good organizational and interpersonal skills, a strong sense of responsibility, IT proficiency, and the ability to work independently and in a team.  Knowledge of inventory management system and experience in handling equipment in a nursing clinical laboratory and/or a simulation training centre would be preferred.

The appointee will provide support to the operation and maintenance of the School’s state-of-the-art clinical laboratory and simulation training centre; assist in the setup for teaching in nursing laboratory; assist in procurement of equipment, operation of electronic devices, record keeping and data entry; and perform other duties as assigned.  Shortlisted candidates will be invited to an interview.
