Manager, MSc Alumni and Student Services (at the rank of Executive Officer) in the Faculty of Business and Economics (Ref.: 528851) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis, with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

Applicants should possess a good bachelor’s degree, with at least 3 years’ solid administrative work experience, preferably in tertiary institutions.  They should have an excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua), good organisational, interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills; a high standard of accuracy in all forms of written work; and the ability to perform multitask under minimal supervision. 

The appointee plays a crucial role in providing administrative support to Alumni and Student team of TPg programmes. The appointee will perform a wide range of duties including managing professional development programmes, managing onboarding documents, handling student visa related inquiries, field trips, team administration, and perform any other duties as assigned.  Liaison with various stakeholders is required, including students, the immigration department, HKU Registry, internal departments and external stakeholders. The appointees will work at the Faculty’s Cyberport campus, and may be required to work outside normal office hours and on weekends, and travel to overseas or Mainland China occasionally.  Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
