Senior Executive Assistant / Executive Assistant (RPg programme) (at the rank of Clerk I/II) in the Faculty of Engineering (Ref.: 528824) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totaling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal)

Applicants should possess 5 passes in HKCEE, including English (minimum grade C if Syllabus A/Level 2 from 2007), Chinese (Level 2 from 2007) and Mathematics, or a minimum Level 2 or equivalent in 5 subjects in HKDSEE, including English Language, Chinese Language and Mathematics. Applicants should have at least 5 years’ relevant work experience; or a recognized Bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years’ clerical experience preferably in tertiary institutions. Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua) is required, along with strong interpersonal, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. IT proficiency and confidence in dealing with individuals at all levels are essential. Applicants should also be self-motivated, attentive to details, and able to work independently as well as in a team. Those with less experience and/or lower qualifications may be considered as Clerk II.

The appointee will assist in administering the research postgraduate programmes and perform any general administrative duties as assigned. He/She may be required to work outside normal office hours and on weekends. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview.
