Manager (at the rank of Administrative Assistant (AA) II) in the Faculty of Engineering (Ref.: 528821) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totaling up to 10% of basic salary with possibility of renewal)

Applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years’ experience at the supervisory level, preferably in tertiary institutions or a related sector. They should have an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua), strong organizational skills, problem-solving skills, communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently with initiative and preferably familiarity with contemporary trends of higher education and research in Hong Kong. They should also be a good team player with the ability to handle multi-tasks.

The appointee will be responsible for the administration of research grants and research supporting schemes, quality assurance matters, and any other duties as assigned. He/she will liaise with internal and external stakeholders, assist in the development and implementation of strategic plan and policies for research, serve Faculty committees, and perform any other duties as assigned.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview.
