Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Research Assistant to join our team. This position requires to work on a groundbreaking project focused on the analysis of lower limb medical data using machine learning.

Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Assist in the collection, organization, and analysis of lower limb medical data.
  2. Apply machine learning techniques and algorithms to analyse collected data.
  3. Has the working experience on one or more following fields: medical image analysis, machine learning and deep learning.
  4. Collaborate with researchers and students to implement standard operating procedures and enhance research efficiency.
  5. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Requirement

  1. A Bachelor’s degree or Higher Diploma in Engineering/Science or a related field from a recognized institution.
  2. Previous working experience on medical image analysis or related fields for Bachelor degree holder and/or has a MPhil degree in computer vision/deep learning/machine learning or related field.
  3. Familiarity with deep learning/machine learning libraries and frameworks (such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn).
  4. A good interpersonal and communication skills.
  5. Good coordination, organizational and problem-solving skills.
  6. Be highly motivated with a strong sense of responsibility and the ability to work independently and in a team.
  7. Good time management skill and can deliver projects in time.
  8. Knowledge in research equipment setup or chemical handling would be an added advantage

The appointment will commence as soon as possible on a 1-year temporary basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.
