Project Officer (Student Outreach), Masters Programmes (at the rank of Clerk I) (several posts) in the Faculty of Business and Economics (Ref.: 532964) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis, with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)
 
Applicants should possess a good bachelor’s degree, with at least 2 year of full-time work experience, in the field of event and project management, student outreach, or a related field. Applicants should be a self-starter with a positive attitude; possess a strong database management and an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua); and be able to multi-task and attentive to detail. Applicants should also have a passion for working with students from all backgrounds and cultures.
 
The appointees will support the Chief Housemasters by providing administrative and logistical assistance for student outreach and enrichment programs aimed at taught postgraduate students. These posts are designed to enhance a sense of belonging and engagement within the faculty’s virtual house system.
 
Additionally, the appointees will serve as a Vice Housemaster, with responsibilities that include but not limited to:
 
• engaging students through a variety of activities;
• managing databases related to the house system;
• supporting student and inter-house competitions and events;
• liaising with students, as well as internal and external stakeholders; and
• performing other assigned duties as needed.
 
The appointees will work at the Faculty’s Cyberport campus, and may be required to work outside normal office hours and on weekends. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview.
 
A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
