Post-doctoral Fellow in Silicon Carbide Devices Study in the Department of Physics (Ref.: 532911)

We now invite applications for the captioned post(s) available in Prof. Francis Chi Chung Ling’s group.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

· work on a project related to silicon carbide

· Design experiments and studies for bipolar degradation of SiC devices

· coordinate data collection and analysis

· support the organization of dissemination events

· assist in the preparation of reports

· perform other duties as assigned

 

Requirements

· a Ph.D. degree in Physics, Materials Sciences or Electronic Engineering

· at least 1 year’s relevant working experience (including PhD research experience) in semiconductor device fabrication and characterization.

· an excellent command of written and spoken English

· good interpersonal, communication, organizational and problem-solving skills

· the ability to work on a tight schedule to meet project deadlines

· the ability to work independently and in a team

· self-motivated and responsible

 

What We Offer

The appointment will commence as soon as possible on a temporary basis until 30 June 2026. A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered. Other benefits include annual leave, medical benefits and free access to on-campus gyms and libraries.
