Applicants should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Software Engineering, Information System, Data Science and Artificial Intelligence, or other related disciplines with 1 year’s work experience, preferably in the education sector. They should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese; a strong sense of responsibility; good interpersonal skills; and the ability to work independently and in teams. Experience in the use of AI and VR for teaching and learning, as well as proficiency in common programming languages and cloud computing platforms would be an advantage. Those holding a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical/Health Sciences or related fields with strong programming skills may also be considered.
The appointee will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operation of an AI and VR learning laboratory for students undertaking professional degrees. Duties shall include the preparation of apparatus for laboratory teaching activities, operation of electronic and audio-visual devices, and conducting maintenance and procurement of equipment. The appointee will also assist in the ongoing development of the Faculty’s various initiatives on educational technologies. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and/or an interview.
