IT Technician / Senior IT Assistant in the LKS Faculty of Medicine (Ref.: 531962) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance)

Applicants should possess a Diploma or higher, preferably a Bachelor’s degree, with 1–3 years of full-time work experience. They should have hands-on experience in software development using tools such as PHP, Node.js (React framework/Next.js), SQL, Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, Java, Tableau, and Python. Candidates should leverage AI to enhance code quality and accelerate development processes. Additionally, they should demonstrate a strong command of written and spoken English and Chinese, IT proficiency, effective organizational and communication skills, the ability to work independently, and self-motivation with a strong sense of responsibility.

The appointee will assist in software and infrastructure project planning, preparation, and execution, as well as liaise with internal stakeholders and external service providers. Other duties include drafting user guides, UAT test plans, technical specifications, progress reports, tender and procurement documents, and performing other tasks as assigned. Candidates with less experience and/or lower qualifications may be considered for appointment as Senior IT Assistant.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
