Executive Officer in the Department of Medicine, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.: 531849) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree or above, with at least 5 years’ full-time work experience, preferably in tertiary institutions.  They should have an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese; strong communication, organizational and problem-solving skills; and the ability to multitask, perform diversified duties, and work independently as well as under pressure to meet tight deadlines.  They should also be very attentive to details and a good team player. Applicants who have experience in administration of self-funded taught post-graduate programmes will be highly preferred. 

The appointee will provide a high level of administrative and secretarial support to one or more domains of the Department, including student affairs and programme administration, knowledge exchange, research, and perform other duties as assigned.  Working outside normal office hours and on weekends may be required occasionally.  Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a written test and an interview.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
