Applications are invited for appointment as Research Assistant I/II in the Division of Community Medicine and Public Health Practice, School of Public Health (Ref.: 537409), to commence as soon as possible for a one-year temporary term contract, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.
Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree or above in Social Work, Psychology, Social Sciences, Public Health, or a related discipline. They should have a strong command of written and spoken English and Chinese/Cantonese, coupled with solid analytical, organisational, and interpersonal skills. They should be able to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating both initiative and adaptability. Prior experience in assisting in professional training, public education programmes, or volunteer training initiatives will be highly desirable. Familiarity with administering e-learning platforms and utilising various e-learning tools will be considered an advantage.
The appointee will be responsible for supporting professional training, public education, and volunteer training events in end‑of‑life care (EoLC). Responsibilities include assisting with promotion, participant recruitment, and handling evaluation‑related administrative tasks. The appointee will also provide support with office administration work and perform other duties as assigned.
