Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in the Division of Community Medicine and Public Health Practice, School of Public Health (Ref.: 537407), to commence as soon as possible on a one-year or two-year temporary term contract, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.

Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in Social Work, Psychology, Statistics, Public Health, or a related discipline. They should have sound knowledge of quantitative research methods and a good command of written English. Prior experience and keen interest in research areas such as palliative care, end-of-life care, and public health would be highly desirable. Knowledge and skills in mathematics, biostatistics, advanced statistical techniques in clinical research, database management, and machine learning/artificial intelligence (AI) would be an advantage.

The appointee will work with the Principal Investigator on various research projects related to end-of-life-care for persons with disabilities and their families. He/She will conduct advanced data analysis and prepare manuscript for the projects. He/She will also be expected to work independently on project management, proposal preparation, and the mentoring of junior research staff.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
