Research Assistant II in Community Child Health Unit in the Department of Paediatrics and Adolescent Medicine, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.:537226) (to commence as soon as possible, on a one-year temporary basis with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)
Applicants should hold a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Biomedical Sciences, Biochemistry, or a related discipline. Hands-on laboratory research experience (e.g., cell culture, assay execution, sample processing) is strongly preferred. Fresh graduates with strong hands-on laboratory training are welcome. Candidates should be self-motivated team players with high integrity, strong communication skills, and a genuine passion for biomedical research. Proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese (including Cantonese) is required. Appointees will join large-scale biomarker cohort, molecular, and genetics projects across community child health and clinical studies. Responsibilities include conducting various lab research experiments, data collection, report drafting, maintaining protocols, and supporting daily lab operations with collaborators. Candidates with less experience may be considered for Senior Laboratory Assistant.
