Clerk II (holding the functional title of Executive Assistant) (several posts) in the Division of Community Medicine and Public Health Practice, School of Public Health (Ref.: 536467) (to commence as soon as possible, on a one-year temporary basis or two-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.)
Applicants should have 5 passes in HKCEE including English (minimum Grade C if Syllabus A or Level 2 from 2007), Chinese (Level 2 from 2007) and Mathematics, or minimum Level 2 or equivalent in 5 subjects in HKDSEE including English Language, Chinese Language and Mathematics. They should possess at least 1 year of full-time work experience, preferably in tertiary institutions or public organizations. Fresh graduates will also be considered. They should be mature, detail-oriented and self-motivated with a strong sense of responsibility, good interpersonal skills, computer literacy, and the ability to work independently. A good command of written and spoken English and Chinese is required.
The appointees will assist in financial accounting matters for various research projects, including preparing purchase orders, processing payment invoices, handling data input, managing budgetary control, and supporting related administrative issues. The appointees will also perform general clerical duties. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview.
