Administrative Assistant II/Executive Officer (holding the functional title of Manager/ Assistant Manager) (several posts) in the School of Nursing (Ref.: 536405) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability)

Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree or above, with at least 8 years’ full time supervisory work experience, preferably in the tertiary institutions or public/quasi-public organizations.  They  should have an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese, including Cantonese, with Putonghua being an advantage.  They should demonstrate strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills; the ability to work independently; and the capacity to multi-task within tight schedules.  A high level of attention to detail, sound judgement, professionalism, and a positive team‑oriented attitude are essential.  Good computer literacy is required, and experience with digital platforms or social media would be an advantage.  Those with less experience but at least 3 years may be considered for appointment as Executive Officer.

The appointees will lead the Knowledge Exchange and External Relation Team of the School and provide comprehensive administrative support in organizing the School’s events/activities.  They will develop and implement branding strategies across digital and traditional platforms; support development, networking, publicity, event management, fund raising, alumni relations, and knowledge exchange initiatives.  They are also required to liaise with internal and external stakeholders, assist in the development and implementation of strategic plans and policies, serve on School committees, and perform other duties as assigned.  Working outside normal office hours and on weekends may be required.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
