Applications are invited for appointment as Clinical Psychologist (at the rank of Counsellor) in the Department of Social Work and Social Administration (Ref:.536129), to commence as soon as possible, on a one-year temporary basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.
Applicants should possess a Doctoral Degree or a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology, Mental Health, Psychology or other related disciplines, preferably with solid work experience in mental health rehabilitation services. They should have high proficiency in written and oral communication in both Chinese (including Cantonese) and English and are capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Prior experience in conducting clinical research, delivering and coordinating professional training and managing projects within the field of mental health-related research would be an advantage.
The appointee will work in the HKJC-funded project mental health project and be responsible for delivering and coordinating professional training to social workers and managing project. The position offers an excellent opportunity for academic publications, building research partnerships with international researchers and local mental health service providers, and learning the implementation of amental health research project.
