We now invite applications for a Research Assistant II in the Division of Paediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics of the Faculty of Dentistry.
Duties and Responsibilities
The appointee will assist the investigator in:
- Coordinating with related parties;
- Collecting, analyzing, and managing data for ongoing projects;
- Conducting literature reviews and preparing research summaries;
- Supporting clinical studies as required;
- Contributing to manuscript preparation and presentations; and
- Maintaining project documentation and performing other duties as assigned by the principal investigator.
Qualifications and Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree or above in Dentistry, Medicine, Health Sciences, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline;
- An excellent command of written and spoken English;
- Strong attention to detail with a high level of responsibility, self‑motivation, and work ethic;
- Effective collaboration and teamwork skills; and
- Independent research experience and the ability to work autonomously are advantageous but not mandatory.
This position is ideal for individuals interested in gaining hands-on research experience and contributing to ongoing projects spanning interactive, immersive applications and medical image analysis at the interface of artificial intelligence and healthcare, with applications in digital dentistry. What We Offer
The appointment will commence as soon as possible on a nine-month temporary term basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.
