Post-doctoral Fellow in Metabolic Medicine and Immunometabolism in the Department of Pharmacology and Pharmacy and the State Key Laboratory of Pharmaceutical Biotechnology (Ref.: 534381)

Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct research on chronic metabolic diseases, including obesity, diabetes, ageing, cardiovascular diseases, metabolic dysfunction associated steatohepatitis (MASH), neurodegenerative disorders, and biostatistics
- Discover and characterize novel humoral factors and biomarkers involved in the regulation of metabolic homeostasis
- Perform biomedical experiments involving molecular biology techniques and biostatistical analysis
- Undertake other duties as assigned
- 5.5 workday per week is required
Requirements
- A Ph.D. degree, preferably with experience in molecular biology, immunology, bioinformatics, multi-omics, and/or manipulation of genetically-modified mice
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to share knowledge, work efficiently, and perform under pressure both independently and within a multidisciplinary team

The appointment will commence as soon as possible on a temporary basis for 1-3 year(s), with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.
