Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in the School of Biomedical Sciences (Ref.: 534106), to commence for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.
Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in Biochemistry, Structural Biology, or a related field, and demonstrate exceptional experimental, writing, and communication abilities. Our laboratory focuses on deciphering the molecular mechanisms of human DNA damage response and repair via an integrated approach that includes biochemistry, molecular biology, and cryo-electron microscopy (single-particle analysis and electron tomography). Preference will be given to candidates with research experience in biochemistry. In particular, we seek applicants with expertise in techniques relevant to single-particle analysis, protein modeling, and cryo-ET. Candidates should exhibit a strong command of written and spoken English, and effective communication skills. Additionally, they should display self-motivation, innovation, and the capacity to thrive in an interdisciplinary team setting.
