Research Assistant II in the Centre for Psycho-oncology Research & Teaching and the Division of Behavioral Sciences of the School of Public Health (Ref.: 533774) (to commence as soon as possible for a one-year temporary term contract, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance)

Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in psychology, social sciences, public health, or related disciplines. They should have a good command in both spoken and written English and Chinese (including Cantonese for effective patient communication), along with good communication skills. They should be self-motivated, organized, and capable of multitasking, with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, basic statistics, and SPSS is preferred. A keen interest in psycho-oncology research is a plus.

The appointee will assist with participant recruitment across multiple public hospitals, conduct questionnaire interviews, perform data analysis, prepare study materials and reports, and oversee project progress. He/She will also contribute to cohort and intervention studies and undertake other duties as assigned. On-the-job training will be provided.
