Executive Officer / Senior Executive Assistant (at the rank of Clerk I) in the Department of Psychiatry, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.: 533509) (to commence as soon as possible, on a one-year temporary basis or a two-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability)

Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree or above, with at least 3 years of full-time work experience preferably in tertiary institutions or in the education sector. They must be a good team player; self-motivated with excellent organisational and interpersonal skills; attentive to details; able to work independently and under pressure to meet tight deadlines and able to prioritise multi-tasks efficiently. Experience in financial matters and event organisation would be an advantage. They should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese; and IT proficiency skills including MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Those with less experience and/or lower qualification may be appointed as Clerk I.

The appointee will join the General Office to provide general support to administrative tasks relating to personnel and financial management, teaching, research, and clinical roles of the Department and perform other duties as assigned. Working outside normal office hours may be required.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. The appointment on fixed terms will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary.
